Live Wedding Painting

As I paint live on-site, guests get to watch the process unfold, adding a special and interactive element to your celebration. Not only is it beautiful entertainment, but the finished piece becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake you’ll treasure for years to come.

Before the event, I’ll create a painting that captures the heart of your celebration and your guests can contribute with a brushstroke or two under my guidance. It’s a beautiful, hands-on experience that blends creativity, connection, and fun. The final piece becomes not just a painting, but a shared memory created with the people you love most. 

Live wedding guest portraits create such a fun and exciting experience at your wedding. It is a beautiful gift for your guests to cherish from your special day. Each portrait is custom-painted with watercolor and outlined with pen on 5x7 watercolor paper. I'll capture a photo of your guests and use it a reference to paint. The guests can return later in the night to collect their artwork. And don't think I left you out! The couple will also get their own complimentary watercolor portrait!

Please note: I may not be able to finish all guest portraits the same night due to wedding guest count. Those unfinished, will be completed in my studio and securely mailed to you within 7-14 days after the wedding date. Tracking information will be emailed to you. 

After I receive your inquiry, we will set up a time to chat over the phone (or email if you prefer). During the consult we will also discuss the financial aspects of your painting as well as your vision for the day! After the consult, I will draft up a contract and email it to you, along with an invoice for a 25% deposit due at time of signing. The remainder of the balance is due 30 days before the wedding date. Payment plans can be discussed if requested. 

On the day of your wedding, I will arrive up to 5 hours before the ceremony depending on the type of live wedding painting. This allows me time to set up and begin painting the background. I will take reference photos of the space and also of the moment you may want to capture. Throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception I will continue to paint until the night comes to an end. Your guests will have the entire day to come up and chat with me!

At the end of the night, you will have a mostly-finished painting. I always take the painting back to my studio to add an additional 15-30 hours of work, or until I feel that I have captured every detail perfectly. You can expect your finished painting 8-12 weeks after your wedding date. I always try to finish earlier, and will keep you updated with the estimated completion date. We will discuss a location for drop-off that is convenient for us both or I will securely ship it to your home at no additional cost to you! Tracking information will be emailed to you.
